St Austell Printing Company support 100: UnEarth

Following their involvement with 100: The Day Our World Changed, in 2014, St Austell Printing Company are again demonstrating their investment and commitment to the St Austell area by being a key partner in this year’s production, 100: UnEarth.

Peter Moody, Managing Director of St Austell Printing Company said, “We’re really proud to support ‘100: Unearth’ as we feel it tells an important story of the people who sacrificed so much. I was lucky to witness the “100: The Day Our World Changed” performance back in 2014 which was a powerful and insightful piece of theatre.”

St Austell Printing Company’s contribution of high quality printed promotional materials will not only spread the word about this July’s performances, it will become part of the legacy of another historic and unforgettable performance.

Peter continues, “Being a family-run, St Austell-based business ourselves we are proud of everything on offer in our area. Heligan is one of the jewels in Cornwall’s crown and we’re happy to support an event that showcases its beauty, history and versatility. I’m passionate about creating a legacy for our community. That why it’s particularly special that this production is going to give so many local people the opportunity to be involved, developing new skills through acting and theatre.”

100: UnEarth looks at the devastating aftermath of conflict, telling the home coming stories of those who fight and live through war. With a love story at its heart, WildWorks will weave their way through The Lost Gardens of Heligan, in this exploration of grief and tragedy with a deeply moving ending, in this retelling of the Greek Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with a new imagining of their critically acclaimed Souterrain.

Emma Hogg, Executive Producer of WildWorks said, “We’re so grateful to St Austell Printing Company for their continued support of our work in Cornwall. They first supported us in 2014 when we created 100: The Day Our World Changed, also at Heligan. To have them back is a wonderful compliment and testament to the work the whole team puts into each project. We’re proud to be creating 100: UnEarth with participants from across Cornwall almost on their doorstep here in St Austell. It is only with the support of companies that we can continue to create work on this scale. Thank you”.

100: UnEarth will be held at The Lost Gardens of Heligan 3rd – 22nd July Tuesdays – Saturday beginning at 7.30pm. For tickets, please visit www.hallforcornwall.co.uk.
