We are delighted to have confirmed the appointment of Emma Hogg as our Executive Director.
We will continue to create work with communities in the UK and abroad and are moving into a new phase of work following the untimely death of our founding Artistic Director Bill Mitchell in 2017.
Emma, who was the Programme Producer for Eden Project, joined WildWorks in 2014 and has worked on many WildWorks projects including 100: The Day Our World Changed, Wolf’s Child and Twice Upon a Castle in Belgium.
“We feel very lucky to have Emma securely in post. Having steered the organisation during an extraordinary period of change and sadness Emma’s ambition to build on the theatre making process that we created with Bill Mitchell has some of the mischief and surprise that WildWorks has become known for.” Gavin Stride, Chair of Trustees, WildWorks
“I’m really excited about the shape of things to come, the projects we are working on and the people we are working with. A huge thank you goes to our funders and supporters, Arts Council England and Cornwall Council for their support and understanding over the last two years and for believing that together we can continue to explore, progress and push the boundaries of the art of landscape theatre that we developed with Bill. ” Emma Hogg, CEO, WildWorks
