Lucy Gaskell

Lucy Gaskell

WildWorks Artist

Lucy left her chambermaid job at 16 to pursue a lucrative career in theatre.

She’s been lighting performers, giant puppets, castles, mines, ice rinks, schools, biomes, quarries, clock towers and palaces during the last 20 years as a freelance designer.

Annual bonuses vary.  They include learning traffic and wiring systems in Cambodia, flying from cranes, drinking 11% Belgian beer, hiding to scare teenagers in artificial fog, swinging from chandeliers in castles and palaces.  Well maybe not the last one.
