Coming to see Wolf’s Child … here’s your need to know info ;
Wolf’s Child is an outdoor promenade performance through the woods at Trelowarren Estate on the Lizard. You’ll be walking, following the action through the woods.
The show will take place whatever the weather so please come prepared … suitable footwear, sunscreen, raincoats and sunhats but no umbrellas, seating or torches please. In the event of severely extreme weather (unlikely) we may need to cancel in which case we’ll move you to a different performance where possible.
The site opens at 6pm for ticket holders, (noon on matinees). There’s a range of food options and a bar so please arrive early and get settled in.
The evening shows begin at 7.30pm (7pm on Sundays and 2pm on the Saturday matinees), and will last around two hours with no interval. It will be dark by the end of the event (evenings) but we have plenty of stewards to keep you on the right path. There are matinees on Saturdays.
The performance is suitable for brave children aged 11 and above. It’s not suitable for children in buggies and babes in arms.
We have worked hard to make the performance as accessible as possible to as many people as possible given the nature of the show.
Torches aren’t permitted, but stewards will be available to assist anyone who would like help walking through the woods as it gets darker – please make yourself known to a steward on arrival.
The ground through the woods is uneven; at moments during the performance, audiences will be stopped for up to 15 minutes. Limited seating will be available – if you will need to sit during longer scenes, please make yourself known to a steward on arrival.
Guide dogs will be allowed, but due to the nature of the event we will be restricting to one per performance. Please call the box office to discuss availability on your preferred night.
Unfortunately, the route is not suitable for wheelchairs.
